For all handyman jobs carried out in private dwellings for the householder during normal working hours, the first 30 minutes costs £12.50p and the second 30 minutes (if any) is £10.00. After that, we charge a standard rate:

  • £20 / hour (parts of an hour pro-rata)
  • £65 / half day (up to 4 hours)
  • £112 / day (up to 8 hours)
  • plus any materials/parts supplied at cost.

For example, a job that takes 30 minutes would cost £12.50; an hour £22.50; an hour and a half £32.50; two hours £42.50 and so on. These charges are for one person attending.

We offer a 20% senior citizen discount for all normal weekday appointments.

Saturday appointments for working people

We realise that not everyone can manage to take time off work for appointments. So, we offer Saturday daytime appointments, with a minimum charge of £25, and a cost of £12.50 per 30 minutes thereafter.

Out of hours calls

If you need something done outside normal hours (bank holidays, Sundays and overnight), we'll do our best to help, but all calls are subject to a minimum charge of £30 for up to an hour, then £15 per 30 minutes thereafter.

Commercial work

If you are an estate agent, landlord, property letting agent, guest house owner, holiday cottage owner, hotelier, or owner of other commercial premises, please ask about our commercial charges - terms by arrangement, but typically £25 per hour payable on completion for ad-hoc jobs.

Cancellations / missed appointments

Please cancel an unwanted appointment as soon as you know you will not be able to keep it, and make sure you are in when we arrive for a booked appointment. Otherwise, we waste time and money travelling to your home or property, and let other people down unnecessarily.

Payment terms

We reserve the right to revise these charges at any time. Please ask when you call if you are unsure of our current charges.

Payment by cash or cheque upon completion for domestic customers. Commercial customers can be invoiced by arrangement. See also our terms and conditions for more information.
